I felt our Maldivian excursion needed two postings as the experiences were quite different. This is the island where the “grown up surfers” go! The hotel is ultimate luxury with the entry level villa being big enough to comfortably house a family of four and service that is second to none. Despite its being super […]

Surfing Time

It is not always the easiest place to access for most of us South Africans, but the Maldives is certainly worth making a little extra effort to reach. In true “surfers wives” style, I looked for islands that offered both a paradise in and out of the water. The first island was the perfect combination […]

If you go to Bali on a surfing holiday, I can guarantee your man will want to spend a few days on “Nusa”.A little island off the coast of Bali, Nusa Lembongan is easily accessed by speed boat (less than an hour away and a relatively comfortable trip) There is only one place to stay […]

Lombok Villas 2

Another great excursion for surfers is a few days on Bali’s neighbouring island of Lombok. Although lacking in decent restaurants, bars and shops, Lombok has its own charm and because it isn’t nearly as popular as Bali – the accommodation is much more affordable If you can manage to convince your guy – avoid Kuta. […]

Bukit Villa Sunset

This was a fantastic find for us. If you can get a few couples together, the value for money is incredible. The villa is spacious, extremely comfortable and well cared for and there is a huge lap pool and amazing views from your elevated position on the Bukit. The villa has a full staff complement, […]

Testimonials

Hi M&M Just a quick note to say - thank you so much for all you help to make our holiday unforgettable. We had a fantastic time and Maritim was lovely. We had a stunning view form our room – see attached. The AI is also worth every cent – we had plenty cocktails and there was very little drinks that wasn’t included. We had to buy an extra voucher to eat at the other restaurants, but that was only R850 pp – and was also worth it. I hope we don’t have to wait another 5 years for our 3rd honeymoon. Lots of love Nienie xxx

It was absolutely superb! The cruise was insane! Sensory overload. We did so much and got to see so much but felt that there was still so much to do that we just didn't have the time (or the energy after a long day of touring) to do. I think it's ideal for people who want to stop at each port and get a general feel for a place.
Christie Family member and client
We couldn't find anything to complain about, it was really excellent, but we were quite tired by the end of it and felt that there was just so much that the cruise offered that we didn't get to do. If i were to recommend it to anyone though, I would insist that they do the courtyard villa option. From the moment you check in to the moment you collect your luggage at the end of the cruise, it's VIP treatment all the way and well worth it!
